Pros
Overall, great to work for a company with such a solid reputation in the hotel industry. Most of the people who work for the company truly are nice or "hospitable" per their motto. Executive level management is smart; however, it's the next level of management that has issues, which you'd think exec level would be more aware of (so perhaps that calls into question their 'smartness' after all).
Cons
There is a surprising degree of incompetence and inexperience among management You continuously see things being done that don't make sense, and certain people get by with surface level knowledge because of the people underneath them doing the real work and giving their bosses just enough information to fool everyone into thinking they actually know what they're talking about. Because they aren't really in tune with what's going on, they give too much credit for things that don't really matter or were easily achieved, and not enough to the things that do matter - or that were much harder to accomplish. Another thing that stands out is that some employees can be quite unprofessional - and that is also tolerated more than it should be.
