      Pros

      The work environment and opportunities. 2 days work from home after 6 months in role (~9 months from start). decent health care coverage options. The Colonnade is a great office space.

      Cons

      Inconsistencies between Hilton Corporate and RMCC cultures and values. The biggest frustration was the consistent praise about the work life balance, but in reality most people work over 45 hours a week and working overtime is encouraged by management and clients.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
