Pros

Great working environment! Flexible schedule if need be, leadership who are willing to work with you and help you grown and experiment in different positions. Amazing benefits! Hotel rooms all over the world for $40-$60 per night, decent PTO (when you factor in holidays it really even out to be about the same as most companies - 2 weeks of vacation time plus holidays but if you are in operations or don't mind working holidays it can pay off and you can get some nice vacation time). Healthcare options are average - vary by region - I've moved around and it's better in some places than others. FULLY PAID parental leave! Two weeks for all new parents - an additional 8 if you give birth.

Cons

Like any company experience differs by location. This is a huge company so obviously I can love the people i work with at one hotel and someone else can hate the people they work with. If this happens to you - switch hotels. I've moved around (which Hilton is amazing at giving you the opportunity to do) and more often than not loved where I ended up. Sometimes the worst part is trying to move up into a better position because everyone else loves their job too and nobody is going anywhere!

Pros

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

Cons

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
