Pros

Full time employees are guaranteed 40 hours Full time gets 40 personal hours Part timers can select availability Bonuses every March and September Majority of managers will work with your schedule, time off and home responsibilities Yearly raises (but only approximately .49 cents for full timers. ) There's a lot of diversity, especially in management. Very LGBTQ friendly. You can expect for Women and those of all racial backgrounds to be represented in your stores, HR, and senior staff.

Cons

Full time associates are expected to have open availability, which means if your manager can't or won't work with you, there's really nothing you can do if you have other obligations. (Another job, daycare, school, etc) Insurance premiums are very high, especially for such a big company. They used to be the competitive company for pay and training, however they kinda lost that years ago. The pay doesn’t match the work and if you get promoted, they will only give you a dollar more an hour-regardless of what you're currently making. This leads to an odd pay scale where people with the same experience and work load have vastly different pays. There's too many chefs and not enough cooks in senior staff. They often disagree or don't communicate with each other. HT often hires neuro divergent staff members, however they have absolutely no idea how to address and work with them. They need some training on management with autism, ADHD, etc. The work load can be a lot for the pay and expectations.. There isn't much training, it's very much watch some videos and then into the fire. You either sink or swim.

Pros

Decent people, make connections, pay, and hours are just okay.

Cons

Management sucks. If you fall victim to bullying, nobody cares/does anything. Working there from 16 to now (barely anymore), it was hard to be happy at all about going in when working with a specific manager who constantly nitpicked and talked behind your back.
