Pros

Benefits was good, the health insurance is jsut nice.

Cons

Salary increments were very limited and not aligned with performance. I often faced challenges in my day-to-day work, but the support manager provided little clarity or constructive guidance. Instead, the response was frequently dismissive and, at times, manipulative, even threatening to transfer me to another team rather than addressing issues directly. All this happened after a reorganization, I was reassigned under the support manager, who demonstrated a clear bias against me. Rather than supporting my contributions, he criticized my personality and attempted to undermine my confidence. When I presented solutions, they were often dismissed without valid reasoning, evidence, or explanation. In one instance, while it was just the two of us in the room, the manager erased my proposal from the whiteboard, circled a section I had explained should be at least 90% complete before progressing, and looked at me with a teasing smile. These interactions created a discouraging environment where my contributions were consistently undervalued. On multiple occasions, I also experienced gaslighting, including implications that I should take on work outside of my defined responsibilities. The lack of support, transparency, and respect ultimately led to repeated burnout within a single year.

Pros

NA, can't think of anything positive anymore. It's a micromanaging mess.

Cons

Guidewire makes majors shift every 2 years and the last one to take PgM out of PD into its own department is a micromanaging nightmare. We have more status meetings and spreadsheets to update than time to do any work anymore. 3 places to update if I want to take PTO. 7am and 7pm meetings are now the norm. 6 bosses in 10 years, no one can make up their mind on the direction of the company, projects start and are abandoned constantly.
