Pros

The company does a good job regarding environmental stewardship for an organization it’s size. They also have a very diverse workforce.

Cons

The organization offers no support for their employees. They have unrealistic growth goals for plasma donations after cutting entire departments and undergoing mass layoffs and restructure. This place is a nightmare. They’ve completely eliminated any sort of corporate culture that may have existed. They disenfranchise and handcuff teams then ask why they can’t produce what they’re being asked to — after cutting 65% of the team. They’ve done nothing to even attempt to keep the employees that survived layoffs but have continued to increase workloads and demands with less support. The organization is so intrinsically flawed that even the good people who want to perform and make a difference can’t because all of the processes and the organization getting in its own way.

Pros

Good for phlebotomy experience Meet interesting people Learn to keep plates spinning Good health benefits, but not enough to outweigh the health impacts Learn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment

Cons

Have to unlearn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment High school drama and toxicity, management is the prom king/queen Cliquey dramatic management team Reneged agreements Playing favorites, rules for thee but not for me Private employee info gets spread, often by those who are relied upon to keep it private No work life balance or boundaries, and it's an admitted and perpetually unaddressed fault Have to be made to feel guilty for wanting to leave production, get a break, or go to the bathroom High turnover "Is everyone else working as hard as I am?",-Everyone, and eventually you
