Pros

Interesting markets and customers (nice to have the mix of corporate and educational). Real commitment to their niche area. Informal, open, friendly culture and lots of good people to work with. Small enough (180 people) that you can see your impact. Large enough to matter. International - work with colleagues in US, France, Germany. Good security for a smallish company - profitable & cash in the bank.

Cons

Very few cons to the work environment, people, or company culture. Main challenge is that the company has a lot to do it's hard work to recruit people fast enough to take advantage of its current opportunities. If you're looking for a job (particularly in software engineering) help out by joining us!

Pros

A leading, privately-held provider of materials data management solutions with established, blue-chip customers in aerospace and defense, automotive, high-tech, and other discrete manufacturing industries. Plus partnerships with the major PLM and simulation solution providers. Semi-annual customer consortia that provide input and prioritization on new product development. If you like to travel to Europe, the company is based in Cambridge, UK and you will have opportunities to travel abroad for company meetings. Very flexible travel policy

Cons

Management needs to be more open to considering and implementing constructive feedback from the field. Complex compensation plan Although it is privately held, most employees are granted a very small amount of stock options.
