Pros

If you’re from a tier-1 college, you’ll get a fat package and special treatment.

Cons

– Absolutely no work-life balance; late nights and weekends are just expected. – No basic human decency in how employees are treated. – Toxic politics everywhere: your skills don’t matter unless you’re part of the favored group. – If you don’t speak Hindi, good luck fitting in — you’ll be sidelined and ignored. – CEO is a joke, and the cofounders and HR deliberately turn a blind eye whenever anyone raises genuine issues. – People have been fired or quietly pushed out just for speaking up. – Senior managers say things like: “Other companies are firing people; we’re giving you a hike — just take it,” as if that’s something to brag about.

Pros

Few functional leaders are good to work with and you an actually learn from them. Candidates know about gokwik because of product depth so pitching a role is simple.

Cons

To begin with all the reviews which are mentioned for HR are totally true.. having worked in this team I can say that the team functions on favoratism only and it comes from top Recruitment function operates like BPO Hiring... person leading such a critical function doesnt have basic understanding that product companies don't operate like BPO.. all the person does is throw attitude and rude behaviour and shouting in unruly voice on the floor. HRBP's main work is only Gossip Management and nothing else thwre is no quality work that they do except for doing gossips and manipulation..they have spoilt the entire culture of the company which I heard was quite good until early 2025. I doubt if CHRO has any control left over the function

Pros

Best company to work for - you really make good friends and families. Good company for relationships!

Cons

As part of the finance team I have great respect for the HR team. These two teams are run by the best friends in the company. It’s inspiring to see their leadership hand in hand (or hand in glove) as they care about employee experience a lot. There is never any delay or bias in getting anything approved - everything is on time but they are always late. These two leaders have taught us what it is to be family at the workplace and hope this culture spreads across the organization!
