I submitted my c.v. for the role of privacy analyst. I was contacted by a talent manager stating what the salary range was and informing me that I had to be in the city centre office 4 days a week, and asking if I would like to progress? As a person with disabilities which make travelling or working in, noisy environments, this wasn't something I could do. The company appears to be applying a blanket policy with no reassurance to those with childcare, caring, disability or other needs, that they will be flexible about adjustments. When I went back to the talent manager asking if it was fixed, I was told again that it was company policy. Clearly a firm playing with, not practicing, equality. I told them I don't want to work for them and frankly they should count themselves lucky I haven't sued them for indirect discrimination. I am also mindful to report them to the equality and human rights commission.
