Pay was TERRIBLE. Pay culture was based on tenure. Small incremental increases
Temporary contracts and limited progression made people very defensive of responsibilities. Not a growth culture.
Use Global Canopy as a stepping stone into the sector. It’s not really the kind of place you build a career. The people that have, maybe they can’t get a job elsewhere?
