Pros
I was an intern at Geoblink in the Tech team from Sept. 2018 to Feb. 2019. Among the 3 internships I have done, this was the best by far.
When I arrived in the company, I was impressed how everyone was so welcoming, friendly, helpful and more generally benevolent. In my opinion, management was great, giving me great flexibility and freedom in organizing my work and schedule, which made me feel responsible and helped me avoid feeling pressured at any moment.
The general company culture was a real fit for me, thanks to something I identified as a general growth mindset. Everyone in Geoblink is interested in learning and improving, and everyone is keen on helping others improve too. This is also implemented through a regular feedback and good communication, or through the allocation of resources for everyone's personal development.
Knowing only the basics of Python & SQL, I improved a lot in Geoblink and had the chance to meet competent people who were always happy to give me hand whenever I needed it. Geoblink's product is quite impressive and innovative, and I think this contributes to the employees' general involvement and motivation.
Finally, I met amazing people there, and I am so thankful I was given this opportunity. I would truly recommend working at Geoblink to anyone who has the chance to do so, and, though I have not finished my studies yet, I really hope I'll be able to find similar working environments in the future.
