Pros

Employee discount - 50% off regular priced items and an additional 10% off sale Most of my co-workers are pretty cool

Cons

Schedules - You'll have about 5 on-call shifts per week(which they'll never use) and only 1, maybe 2 actual work shifts per week and they're only ever 3-4 hours. Understaffed - 90% of the time there's only two people on the floor, one on the adult side and one on the kid and baby side. Meanwhile, the manager is always in the office "working" on other stuff. This means you're the only associate on your side and they expect you to be able to help customers at the front of the store and those in the fitting rooms in the back, be cashier, fold clothes, take back clothes from the fitting rooms, watch for thieves, do returns... All by yourself! GapCard - Your store has weekly credit card goals, but nobody wants a credit card.

Pros

Hourly rate is decent and pays weekly

Cons

Managers think they are above everyone even when they have as much potential as a goldfish in life. We are pushed to get customers to sign up for a store credit card which is one of the worst credit cards I’ve seen. Your worth at this company is dependent on how many credit cards you can get which is so dehumanizing. Horrible culture and company to work for.
