Pros
Truly remote, flexible work for almost all roles Benefits, time off, parental leave are above industry standard and generous (US-based) Still feels like a start up, in good ways and bad ways The culture has come back to it was when we started - people are excited, but sometimes a little hesitant (like any startup, right?) It's easy to make your mark, because the company is still young and growing - and this seems true org-wide The current leadership team is down-to-earth and approachable, they care about every role that keeps us going
Cons
Priorities shift a lot, and there has been a history of year-end cutbacks over the last few years which has created a lot of discomfort Culture was not doing well in 2023, but seems to have come back to where it needs to be Burnt out is extremely common and it is really hard to get support for additional headcount/team members unless you are working in an area of investment (like AI) Work/life balance is not necessarily bad, the company promotes good work/life balance but the pressure to get things done makes it hard to set those boundaries
