Completely Unprofessional – Ghosted After Multiple Rounds
This was one of the most frustrating interview experiences I’ve had.
I went through 5+ rounds of interviews over nearly a month, including senior leadership discussions. The process initially seemed structured, and communication was quick in the earlier stages.
However, everything changed after the final round.
I was explicitly told that a decision would be made by the end of the week. I waited. There was no update. I followed up—still no response. Complete silence.
After investing this much time and effort, the least a company can do is communicate the outcome. You don’t have to give detailed feedback, but simply disappearing after the final stage is unacceptable.
This is not just unprofessional—it shows a lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort. If this is how the company handles candidates at the final stage, it raises serious concerns about their internal culture and communication standards.
I have gone through multiple interview processes in my career, and this is the first time I’ve been ghosted after reaching the final round.
Would not recommend.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at G-P (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process itself was straightforward; not overly challenging. I made it all the way to the final stage… and then radio silence. I’ve followed up three times without so much as a courtesy response. I understand that interview processes can be demanding and companies have multiple candidates to evaluate, but it’s now been a month since my final interview, and not even a simple “we’re moving in another direction” has come through. Frankly, that level of silence strikes me as both unprofessional and, dare I say, a little lazy.
The interview happened over call, and I was thoroughly asked about my current job, my reason for leaving job, and why I wanted to apply for this specific position. Overall, it was a good experience.
