Pros
-Some neat work travel -Majority of coworkers are friendly, knowledgeable, and hard-working
Cons
Despite the recent rebrand, Future Caucus (formerly Millennial Action Project) in many ways acts like an immature college startup as opposed to a respectable political nonprofit. This organization's overworked and underappreciated staff continuously try to navigate frequent chaos like Sisyphus rolling the boulder up the hill. Working at Future Caucus, you can expect: -Incompetent and out-of-touch leadership (particularly C-suite) -Near-constant infighting and bad-mouthing between teams -Frequent toleration of harassment, inappropriate words and demeaning remarks toward staff -Nonexistent commitment to DEI -Playing fast-and-loose with legal restrictions, nonexistent ethics training -Arbitrary expectations for work hours, very little work/life balance -Rapid staff turnover (over 80% from 2021-2022) -Very low pay (less than $50k for junior staff) and no transparency regarding how pay is determined -Rampant mission creep, particularly when it comes to the wishes of grant-funders
