Pros
A fantastic bunch of colleagues with excellent skills you would be hard pushed to replace, unfortunately they are under valued and taken for granted by management, interesting and varied job which is challenging and satisfying.
Cons
No promotion prospects, poor/non existent salary reviews. Staff induced into completing a performance review process which gives the company a tick in the box for investment in people and nothing else. There is no performance related pay, the latest scam is to say the pay pot has to be used to sort out pay anomalies for those who are 25% below the median (who created the problem in the first place?). Your email inbox is inundated with 'red top' emails citing which management pleb has been promoted or the team that got re-organised 3 months ago is changing its name again.
