Pros
The financial tools mostly work when someone finally explains how to use them.
Cons
Nothing gets communicated properly - you find out about major decision days after they happen and leadership just never sits down to actually explain what's going on or why. Everything runs on this need-to know basis except we apparently don't need to know anything, and it's this constant guessing game about company direction, project changes, budget decisions, all of it. I watched reassignments happen, saw priorities shift overnight, watched budgets get cut, and there was just... nothing, no explanation, no context, just you figure it out yourself. You're left assuming everything's falling apart because they won't tell you what's actually happening, and that paranoia becomes pretty normal after a while. It kills any sense of being part of something because you're just operating in the dark, doing your tasks with no real understanding of why they matter or where the company's even headed.
