Cons
Fidelity is one of those "we grew too fast for our own good" companies. From 1990 to 2000, the employee base grew exponentially and alot of people who had no business being in any sort of management role found themselves in charge of other people in management. Fidelity now cannot care about their new recruits having bachelor's or master's degrees, because many of the site directors have only high school diplomas to their name. The national director of phone centers is working on a bachelor's degree. There is no reward for education or effort, and for a while the quickest way to get into a manager position was to be female--hardly any other qualification was needed.
