Pros
PTO, work from home, set Monday-Friday schedule. My position allows me to work from home mon-fri 7:30-4pm. The company also offers ok benefits such as 3 weeks PTO, 4 personal choice holidays, 8 standard holidays and blue cross health insurance.
Cons
This job is fast paced, stressful, and constant finger pointing. Training offered is 4-8 weeks however the training received may not pertain to your position at all. I have been with the company for less than 8 months and already seen the chaos/disorganization everywhere. I currently help multiple teams outside of my reporting supervisor due to their lack of knowledge and training. The training I received was of little value since the departments I am assisting include very little of what I learned. Job aides or proper resources are almost non existent as this company is learn as you go with lots of mistakes guaranteed. Everyone from every team I have encountered is clueless on how to perform their job, do not have the proper access to all applications needed to do their job, and are not given clear guidance who to contact with issues/concerns. It is a constant game of finding the right person to reach out to for assistance in completing projects. When asking your team lead or supervisor for assistance they do not have the answer on how to solve your issue so instead point you in a direction of someone else to reach out to. If you are able to find the right person they rarely want to help with questions you may have. The moment you begin to gain traction in completing a project or task you are pulled to start a other project without being able to complete the previous. The company also requires for you to participate in company events like holiday or movie trivia. The workload does not allow you time to do any of these company events however participation is taken in consideration when evaluating your monthly/quarterly/end year review.
