Pros

FIS is the world’s largest global provider dedicated to banking and payments technologies. With a long history deeply rooted in the financial services sector, FIS serves more than 14,000 institutions in over 100 countries. FIS deals in finance, banking, telecom, healthcare and various other technologies. FIS is ranked 425 on the Fortune 500 and is a member of Standard & Poor’s 500® Index. FIS has also been named the number one overall financial technology provider in the annual FinTech 100 rankings. Let see the Pros: 1) As it's an international MNC, so you can expect high standards from the management, co-workers to the other staff. I'll say they of one the best managers around. Very friendly and competitive. 2) Nice Cafetaria, good food as in health (not in health may be), Fresh juices, shakes, snacks, biscuits, always availiable. We also have an HDFC ATM machine in the cafetaria if your out of money :) 3) Very Good Incentives :- Minimum salary for a fresher is 13000/- Qualification is just 10+2 with good written knowledge of English for non-voice process. You're in probabation period for 3 months first, then you'll start getting the incentives. Incentives can be anywhere from 500 minimum to almost unlimited in the 'Chat' Process. 4) The best thing i like about FIS Gurgaon is you can change your process if you want to, during the 'Internal Job Posting' (IJP). Let's say you're bored doing emails, then when the IJPs are going on, give the tests and interview, then you can go to chat and have fun. Or as matter of fact, any process if you're eligible. 5) Educations Assistance :- They provide 50000 in total for a period of 3 years for your educations if you're eligible. I know it's almost nothing, but anything is better than nothing.. 6) Again of the best thing about FIS : You can refer your friends or anybody. If they are selected, he/she and you will get anywhere from 2500 to 6000 after 3 months, according to the process. So if your 5 friends/relatives/strangers refered by you are selected you WILL get 5*6000 = 30000 after they are confirmed in the company. Got it ?? PLEASE NOTE (IMPORTANT) : FIS only ALLOWS THOSE FOR INTERVIEWS, WHO ARE REFERED BY CURRENT EMPLOYEES OR A CONSULTANCY. OR you'll have to hear "YOU CAN LEAVE FOR THE DAY", if you're not referred by anybody.

Cons

Yes there are lots of them.. Lets have a few: 1) No Cabs: FIS don't provide cabs before 7pm. You have to come by your own in the day. The cabs are available after 7pm (for night only). You have to reach either Dwarka or IFFCO chauk metro. The Feeders will take you to the office. The Company provides 1500/- reimbursement for the above expenses. For those living in Gurgaon, don't worry, you'll get cabs. 2) The food as in taste :- The vegetarian is .. well healthy but... ok.. see if you're getting chole, gobi, or your fav vegetable that's somehow eatable. But the daals, other pulses, lauki , brinjal, that's yuk.. No spices at all. Everything tastes the same.. Only good thing is the dessert you get everyday with the meals.. halwa, cake, gajar ka halwa, kheer, pudding, sweets, etc... The Food is free but you can complain, Right ? 3) Training is not comprehensive : They provide training for 4 weeks. But as all the process here are so broad, the on job training has to be good after the training... But sometimes you are on your own during the on job training.. Only very smart people are quick to grasp the process quickly.. But don't worry, after 3 months, everything's fine believe me..

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
