Pros

The fringe benefits are nice, we have some freedom in the creation of the food and we are not managed by a bunch of task masters like you tend to find in many restaurant kitchens. Making good quality food for large numbers. Diverse working environment. Working with more like minded people than I have ever had the opportunity to, good growth and constantly challenged.

Cons

menu constraints can be limiting at times. The mass of product in an already tight working environment really makes for tough stressful conditions. (Should be alleviated by new Kitchen spaces) lots of struggle with having enough people to fill all of the roles puts added stress on the rest of the crew.

Pros

Impact: You are part of creating systemic level change for healthcare organizations. You get to be on site and work directly with providers and see how these changes impact their communities. People: Extremely smart and capable. I feel like I can rely on my team in a way I haven't at previous employers. New hires are entry level, so there's a strong community for people in a similar stage of life. Culture: Quirky but in a real, unique way. People are collaborative and celebrate shared accomplishments. The campus enshrines a very specific (and fun!) vibe. Location: Madison is awesome. Benefits: The health insurance is unparalleled. Sabbatical is a super cool perk too. Growth: A lot of autonomy and responsibility allows people to rise to the challenge. Stability: Solid industry, no lay-offs.

Cons

Remote work flexibility: 5 days a year
