Pros

Other coworkers were really nice, clean work area

Cons

Lack of training, inconsistency: Hired on as a temp to hire for SMT . The position that I was hired for, I was never given an opportunity to even start! They started "training" me on 2 other positions. The first one, I learned most of it in a few days. Then was switched to the line operations, the first trainor was very helpful, positive and patient. However , the company needed to do an important task on that line, and I was pulled from that line and put on another (because I was "too new to help") where I was constantly moved around and not everyone is able to train well. I asked questions, etc, I just wasn't given much to do on the other temp lines i was put on quite a bit. some other temp line worker wanted to do the work themselves. (Understanable ) I ended up having to go on the initial position to try to stay busy , I was told by the supervisor I would be starting my position to train that i was hired for the next week. That following week I came in , I was told I would be staying on the first line (with the helpful trainer again) for a few more weeks . My last day I was pretty much running things without the trainor when that trainor went on breaks. Yes, I missed a few days with a Dr's note and missed 1.5 days (with prior approval from the staffing agency) for a personal emergency. The last day that I was running things by myself, EiMicrocurcuits told the staffing agency "I did not engage in training". All the co-workers while there, said I was catching on quick and praised me for always asking questions. Besides the lack of consistency in management and failure to be stable at training, further blaming me non engagement of training, it wasn't a terrible place and I enjoyed the people there.
