Pros

Regardless of who you work for and what you do, the opportunities that exist at Dell for either advancement in skill or increase in pay are only limited to only to an individuals ambitions and choices. Because of the many benefits in the parameters Dell has in the workplace to help everyone achive his or her goals, everything you acquire in skills and knowledge has endless opportunities waiting you while there, as well as taking them with you beyond Dell.

Cons

Inheritance: Though no company is immune to what comes down the proverbial chain to those below, when "trimming the fat" off to make the machine function leaner, it can sometimes result in management retaining a few bad "nuts" when chucking out the bolts that make them necessary. That said, I've experienced some managers who have had great skills, but coupled with bad management appetites. And that, as we know, can lead to problems affecting workplace morale to employees being treated unfairly - this being personally observed and reported, can sometimes negatively impact even the annonymous in an open-door policy sanctioned workplace.

Very helpful and knowledgeable community, incredibly easy to talk to anyone in any part of the business. Gave me a wide range of experiences/projects.

Cons

Limited intern bonding opportunities when compared to Round Rock office.

Pros

At this point? None honestly.

Cons

They did a complete 180 since I got hired. Came in as remote during COVID and now that they forced most people back to the office, they made us 3rd class citizens in the company. Can't get a raise, a promotion, any spiffs or even the same contests that the people in the office do. This company does not keep promises and has been constantly doing workforce reductions ever year like clockwork for 4 years now. The COO Jeff Clarke is an absolute clown as well, you have to go into the office dressed as business casual, but this guy goes to One Dell World in undersized lame t-shirts every year. Hypocrisy at all levels of this company. Just looking for a good opportunity and I am out, after talking to my co workers I feel like 70-80% feel the same. The tools also suck and are down half the time as well.
