Pros

Great benefits - 401k match and immediate vesting. 3 weeks PTO for full time US employees. 2 weeks personal time off for US employees. Company shut down in December for Christmas/New Year Training opportunities IF YOU HAVE TIME. Remote work

Cons

Workforce reduction has led to double the work for existing employees. People are afraid to take days off because they return to mountains of work. Analysts are dedicated email agents AS WELL AS chat agents. The job is robotic, constant non-stop busy work. EVERYTHING is logged and monitored and audited. Extremely exhausting, running on fumes. Some sales people are great, some are incompetent, entitled, and extremely rude. They need better training . If you're interviewing, ask management why people have left. Raise is pitiful below inflation. Promotions are rare. Systems/tools are broken and take months to be fixed, leading to constant problems and delays. Meanwhile, new products are launched for the employees to learn. It's problematic and never ending. Influencers are getting paid for SXSW talks but employees don't get invited. Employees need to pay to get in if they want to "volunteer" at Dell Match Play. What kind of joke is this?

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
