Pros
Perhaps if you are fresh out of school and looking to make some extra cash, then sure this could work but the pay is not worth it.
Cons
Where to begin! The pay is extremely low and the workload, while not insurmountable is tedious and long so the pay essentially turns into nothing. Then there are also the people who give you feedback and editing notes - some are pleasant but most are condescending and rude and give you idiotic feedback like "can you make this more coastal" - what kind of constructive feedback is that. Everyone's perception of certain items is different. Then, on top of a ridiculously low pay, if the client consistently rates things at 3 or below stars, you get to do endless revisions that take hours, even if that client is an utter dunce and doesn't know how to use their words. Decorist always sides with the clients because you gotta get that money!! Just not money for the designer. Lastly, they have these store packages right, where if a client buys a "buybuy baby" package they need to be sold 80% of BBB items, which wouldn't be an issue but they don't inform the purchaser of this, and some clients are left puzzled.
