Pros
DNA Genotek took me into sales with no experience at all. I thrived in sales, learned a lot, and before a year was through was training others. DNAG was supportive above and beyond; while working for them my mother was in her last stages, and died from lung cancer. They honestly did more for me than I could ever repay when things were the toughest. After significant space for grieving and recovering from her death, I went back to work able to work harder than ever. They allowed time for personal growth, both in taking courses during work hours, and promoting exercising during lunch breaks. No micromanagement allowed you to work hard and push boundaries. Amazing amazing amazing company to work for. I had to leave when my husband's work moved to Montreal, or I'd have stayed much much longer.
Cons
The only real downside I witnessed was delayed receipt of the yearly quota for sales staff, who really rely on this number to direct sales strategy and targets; the year was more than a quarter through when sales staff were given the new quota for commissions. This caused quite a bit of displeasure among the staff.
