I applied through LinkedIn, and received a proposal for the interview, it was on the hard skills with lot's of questions and testing trials, the test task was quite large.
Straight forward, fair. Mix of technical questions to determine background and situational. Several rounds. Nice management interviewing, made sure I was comfortable and it felt like more of a chat than being put on the spot.

Question 1
Specific genetics questions - like what is epigenetics?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at DNA Genotek (Ottawa, ON) in Feb 2021
Interview
I did 3 levels of interviews. The first was with HR (phone interview), then for Quality Coordinator, and another interview for a higher-level position that was recommended by the hiring manager to apply.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The HR interview was short and over the phone. It was more general background questions. The other interviews were video calls with hiring and operations managers. It contained both technical and behavioural questions. The first interview was very smooth and normal interview questions. I was asked to apply for a higher-level position. However, the second interview was really strange. The questions were very difficult and it was not clear what type of answers they were looking for. Overall, communications were weak. HR never emailed back for the outcome of the interview and never responded back to the emails. It was the most strange interview I have ever had!
