      Global nature of the firm, good pay and benefits.

      Cons

      Hard to progress, particularly to partner stage unless you have a strong business case and support of partners. I've been at the firm for 9 years and only one associate has been made up to date.

      Pros

      - Excellent pay and benefits - Flexibility with the hybrid schedule (depending on your practice group) - Easy to build community with other assistants and paralegals

      Cons

      - Easy to fall into burnout due to understaffing in assistant/paralegal positions - Be prepared for an unexpectedly higher or lower workload at any point. - D.C. location is particularly strict about the hybrid expectations - A bit disorganized as a whole when it comes to onboarding and training for your particular practice group.
