Pros

As a Mom who took a career break for 1.5yrs, it was always going to be difficult to get back to the main stream. Though, most employers these days talk about inclusion, very few take it up seriously and provide second innings to the women who consciously took a maternity break. My tryst with Continental was by chance, I was exploring the job market and got an interview call. Prior to this, I had not heard much about the organization though it having its own legacy and rich history. I happen to be the privileged one as I got the opportunity to start my second innings with them. It is only after I joined, it seeped in what a wonderful place it is to work. Flexible working options, which is the need of the hour gives the freedom to plan your work as well as cater to your family/personal needs, which can be a boon for anyone, irrespective of gender. The stress on having gender diversity and actually taking steps towards it, makes it a real hero. The average age of employees being less than 30 adds to the vibrancy and fun quotient of the work place. In a very short span, I have realized that they are serious on making “Continental Automotive” a preferred employer for each one. Hoping to have an exciting and promising time ahead with Continental…as the start has been great.

Pros

Great work life balance and culture. If you want to work at a place that will provide a low stress, flexible position with amazing people, this place is no doubt one of the best in that area.

Cons

Pay is low compared to other companies in the area and the cost of living in the area is high. They seem to be outsourcing jobs to cut costs, so job security is not the best right now.
