Pros

benefits like FTO that you can't use. The benefits

Cons

Let's start by saying.. when you have a group of people who have been in insurance a long time as DMs that doesn't mean that they know how to run a start up business. By their own words Comparion Insurance Agency is a start up. You double the expectations and cut the pay. About 30% of the company can no longer write Liberty Mutual because Liberty has shut us off. And those of us that can write it, receive rejections to the quotes. We don't receive credit for the "choice" policies that we write in the month it's written, and sometimes there is a 45 delay. The only people who are reaching their goals are Lead Sales Reps who have been around for years. The rest of us are put on coaching plans (which means we will be fired soon) we are expected to also sell over $1000 in life insurance premiums per month. The managers drink the Kool-Aid and blow all of the smoke with a smile on their faces and watch with no care in the world as folks quit. It is abundantly clear to everyone that they honestly do not care about any of us. It's a joke, the entire thing is a joke. If the CEO really cared about the people, he's stop with the insane trips that only the top 1% get and put that money back into retention and give people obtainable goals.

Pros

The flexibility to work from home and from an office allows both myself and my team to thrive and collaborate. Our robust carrier panel allows our agents to help customers with most/all of their insurance needs.

Cons

Communication between our carriers and our agents/managers can be improved upon.

Pros

I've been with the company for 10 years and currently serve as a Regional Marketing Manager, which I think speaks volumes on its own. What has kept me here is the consistently supportive and transparent leadership at all levels of the organization. Senior leadership, including the CEO, leads with an honest, human, and relatable approach- you're not just hearing values talked about, you see them modeled every day. The culture is collaborative and people-centric, and there's a genuine emphasis on work/life balance. Employees are trusted to do their jobs well, given autonomy, and supported when challenges arise. Communication is clear and open, and there's a strong sense that leadership is accessible and truly listening. It's a place where you feel respected, valued, and motivated to do great work.

Cons

As with any growing organization, things can move quickly and change is ongoing. For people who prefer rigid structure or a very slow pace, that may take some adjustment.
