Pros

Most non-management staff are down to earth / friendly

Cons

Don't fall for the "positive" reviews (they're fake, posted by managers at the request of the owner/HR). This company is awful to work for because they don't care about anyone who works for them. It's super stingy and there's zero integrity with how they treat people. The management have no skills relevant in today's market. They only look after themselves and a chosen few with regular pay rises/ bonuses while everyone else gets zilch. When they look at these bad reviews they love to blame it on disgruntled staff instead of actually taking it on board and trying to improve.

Thank you for your feedback. We are listening, and we do care. Please reach out and talk to us because we appreciate your support and desire to communicate and make a difference. After 5 – 7 years with the company, we want to understand how we can help support you better. You have been here a long time supporting the company, your team and our customers and I am genuinely very sad to hear that you now feel this way. It has been a tough time for the last year due to the pandemic and everyone has made sacrifices due to the downturn in events industry, which has been truly appreciated. This has meant that bonuses were not possible for anyone in the company. Let’s talk and see how we can work together to improve things for the future. Vanessa Green CEO

Pros

The people are what make this place a great place to work, for me. Everyone, from operations, to management, to technical and catering make this place great to work at. It's really refreshing having management & team that sticks up for you and accommodates for whatever difficult situations arise, especially in the hospitality sector. Vanessa Green is really pleasant to be around, haven't heard a single negative thing about her from any level of the company.

Cons

Potential to upskill is very limited, crucial in the IT sector. Day-to-day operations make it difficult for management to implement, but the lack of formalised training and documentation (especially for IT processes) make doing my job without having a more familiar tech hold my hand at every step of the way difficult. Reliable management & team structure mitigates this issue greatly, but increases upward & outward workload.
