Too many re-orgs, hiring from external instead of internal existing workforce for promotional opportunities, hiring people to lead teams that are not better, smarter, more experienced or stronger than existing team members that were overlooked for promotions. Career growth is difficult, unless you're drinking the cool-aid kissing up. But, those are the ones who are usually not knowledgeable to lead in the first place. That part makes most employees very disgruntled.
