Pros

The only Pros is being able to look at the new outfits in the new pairings Chico's clothes have changed for the worst the company is now just another clothing store when it used to be Resort and vacation wear that was outstanding that you wanted to wear and look good in now is comparable to Walmart

Cons

The company has simply gone downhill with a new owners Chicos has become afterthought their darling is Talbots so they're trying to manage and run Chico's like Talbots two different sets of customers and Chicos customers are very unhappy they closed distribution centers shipping is taking longer customer service is atrocious sales are few and far between the clothes are starting to look worse and worse down to Walmart level Management style is non-existent little to no communication you have to read basically what they put out but the managers and assistant managers do not share any information given on the conference calls on Mondays this is done on purpose to keep you in the dark to keep you from trying to attain a higher position within the company very catty like Behavior backstabbing hours given to favorites Etc a toxic work environment you really would have to love the label and the clothes to stay working here.

Fun at times with conversations amongst employees

The pettiness The bad mouthing of current employees or past employees, if the manager was talking about them I am sure she was talking about me Manager gave out her phone number to all employees to contact by text or calls, when I had to text her , her reply back was condescending and not to pleasant. I got an apology the next day. She knew she was wrong She got a bad review because she did not present herself in a positve way when helping a customer, she talked about the previous management I had an upcoming date that I needed off and she knew but she scheduled me for that day anyway I was told there was a review about me apologizing to much? That was a lie, I looked at all the reviews none about me but she had a negative one about her I only apologized to my customers if we did not have a product or we did not fit their expectations Yes I did apologize to some employees, I was in training and learning. Im sure it was the fellow coworkers that complained I do have problems with my right foot and at the moment my nice pair of nikes was providing more comfort to my feet, and was told I needed a drs note? But another employee who his younger was wearing very dirty tennis shoes, not a good look if they a noticably dirty Not good training, barely had any
