Pros

Strong emphasis on well-being and a manageable pace of work.

Cons

Compensation didn't reflect the level of output or the revenue generated for the pipeline; I was notably underpaid relative to their impact on the business.

Pros

I have worked at Challenger for 5 years and I have really really grown to love the company. The methodology is the best in the business - if you actually use the methodology, implement it, you really will stand out in the sales space and make a lot of money. The Challenger people are really great people and they are all really smart. One of the reasons I have stayed here so long is because I constantly feel pushed to learn more and become better.

Cons

Since the acquisition, Richardson is taking away the magic of Challenger. Challenger has always been a really progressive company, with the same culture as a tech company. Slowly but surely all of those things are being ripped away. Something that made Challenger great was the balance. Sometimes it was a real grind, but they also give you the ability to take the time you need as long as you get your stuff done. This is no longer the case, it feels like we are being squeezed for everything we can. -Quotas have gone up an unattainable amount (think between 70-100%) -Unlimited PTO is gone -Paternity leave /leave for the 'Non Birthing Parent' is no longer -Summer Fridays is gone -Commission rates have gone down for reach and every rep -Territories are large but over 50% of the accounts are non viable
