Pros

Overall good atmosphere and culture to work in. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. People really do strive to be better and encourage you to do the same. Not everyone has all the answers but they do try to assist as long as you put forth a good effort to try/learn. Good opportunities to learn and try new things. There are opportunities to TeamBuild after hours and at times during lunch hours to hangout and get to know others better. You don't feel like a number and you do matter even when some life events happen. Company is growing.

Cons

Being family owned can be hit or miss for some. At times it can get stressful and you will work extra hours to resolve an issue (nature of the beast). Benefits are not all that great but has gotten a little better over time. Work office isn't glamorous and certain rooms can be very cold. Can be difficult at times for vacation during the holidays.

Pros

I left CenterEdge because of the pandemic troubles it suffered (or else I might still be there!) and I wrote a very detailed review while I was still employed with them. I wanted to add the note that I am still on the cutting edge of processes to improve testing, DevOps, and software delivery because of the tremendous education I received (in my not-so-young career) at CenterEdge. I attribute this primarily to the System Architect, and the freedom he has been afforded to drive these kinds of initiatives.

Cons

Every company has its challenges, but the cons at CenterEdge are petty in comparison to the career-altering learnings to be had.

Pros

It’s a small company, everyone knows everyone. You can talk with the higher ups as people not just a number. The software is huge and fun to learn. There is a lot of opportunity to grow and they promote from within.

Cons

It’s a small company, everyone knows each other and all of the higher ups are best friends. This makes it hard to make an impact sometimes with data rather than feelings.
