Pros

There were a lot of good co-workers there that made a terrible environment bearable. However, a lot of them are leaving for better companies.

Cons

Too many to list all but highlights include: Incompetent upper management Bad hours Bad pay Terrible communication between departments Employees are disposable commodities I am sad to say I worked at this company for several years and it was such a waste of my life. The turnover was so high when I started that it was like being in the Hunger Games. I was taught to work hard and try to overachieve to get ahead in life; none of that will ever be noticed or compensated at this company. If you work extra hard or you just watch videos all day long, nobody notices or cares. So if you are a bad worker and don't care about your future, this might be the place for you! I sat near someone who would sleep at her desk just about every day for months and she got promoted. That is the summation of the management there...blindly making decisions with little to no assessment or calculation. In fact, there were several instances when the COO would hold a company wide meeting promising great changes coming that never happened. You could never trust a word that was said to you by upper management because they would either deny saying it later or just not care what they promised you. I can tell you with all sincerity, that you DO NOT want to work here. It will waste your life and no one will thank you for it. You want to work at a company that cares about you and your future and sees you as a valued member, not one that lies to you about your career options to manipulate you or treats you with such indignation.

Pros

* Development Team Members were awesome - Excluding the Architect * Dev Guild meetings for developers was a great venue to present or discover new technologies or development techniques. * Recent improvements to 401K.

Cons

Do not consider a job here, as a software developer, unless you are desperate and have no other options. They will tell you a great story about their present and future plans but reality will never match their words. * Toxic & Abusive Culture * Unethical & Unprofessional Management team * The architect is the worst person I’ve ever met in my life and has no redeeming qualities. - The architect is the son of the owner, is involved in everything and cares only about himself. - Most of the development teams are walking on eggshells because of the architect. - The closer you have to work with him the more miserable you will be. * CTO sits in on all daily status meetings. * Very old VB.NET code written in a very convoluted way. * Low / No Pay Increases. They’ll give you a review but you’ll never see an increase if they can avoid it. * Weak benefits My conscious is now clear... you have been warned.

Pros

Free movies, free sodas and that's about it

Cons

You will not get the training you need to do your job The same thing for help, you may ask for help all you want but you will not get it unless your supervisor is your friend and likes you You are disposable and will be disposed of as soon as the company changes direction I don't think the owner of the company would approve of the way his company is run
