The culture is terrible. Both at a company level, and particularly in the UK&I. They've never prioritised this, and the morale was always extremely low. It was the least fun working environment I've experienced in 20+ years of work.
Celonis has brought in a number of different leaders to try and change the company's direction. However, the same core bunch of founders who have largely only worked at Celonis dictate the company direction and creates a bit of a cult-like atmopshere where dissenting opinions are not welcome.
The pay and equity is well below market rates. But you should be prepared to work harder than you've ever worked before for significantly less return.
Celonis does well in CPG, telco, oil & gas, and manufacturing. They have struggled to crack other sectors (finance, retail, public sector, etc). Furthermore, the US has never taken off which will impact the company's ability go go public. At this point an acquisition is a best case scenario.
