Pros

Steady employment in the tough Vancouver market. Lots of board games for lunch breaks. Cheap Beer.

Cons

Studio is heavily mired in ego and politics. There is a common rule of "don't rock the boat". Don't bring up your issues with management on changes in direction. Don't try to implement better team management and work practices. Just keep your head down, talk about your issues outside of the office and do your work. Deadlines are consistently ignored, and blame is shifted downwards. Project managers have a hard time with task management. Engine is also very primitive. The tech really needs to be updated to support a AAA title. If Vancouver had more competition, this studio would have a hard time keeping their staff. The management in charge of this studio does not have a great amount of experience doing AAA titles, and are making some very odd decisions. Dead Rising 2 missed multiple deadlines for Capcom, resulting in no bonuses for staff (even though it was dangled like a carrot many times).
