Pros
employee discount stacks on sale discounts, mostly friendly co-workers, and store management seemed receptive to employee feedback on day-to-day operations. Uniform rules aren't unreasonably strict.
Cons
low pay ($17/hour in NYC), and the discount is only 25%. It's like they don't want employees to wear the product. No commission doesn't help incentivize a strong sales/customer service strategy. Online returns count against store sales and can make or break the day (leading to more cut hours). The standards for displaying pants on the rack make it hard for customers to see items. Prices increased again, but the quality has remained the same. Stores don't get the younger, trendier clothes from online, so in-store customers tend to be older or shopping for office wear. Not many opportunities for promotion.
