Pros
Benefits, great PTO, medical benefits, etc for hospital and corporate employees. Pay was decent.
Cons
Cutthroat culture, supposed "advancement opportunities", but in reality this was not the case. Also, they need to re-evaluate their philosophy of how they qualify job postings...seems that, even for professional positions, they feel only someone with an RN is qualified (example, Recruiter)...however this is NOT the case and they are passing over some GREAT candidates due to this "requirement." Also, it's definitely a situation where employees don't "walk the talk". Banner preaches patient care this and patient care that, but it does not trickle down from direct care providers...it needs to be instilled in ALL employees (front desk employees, financial, etc)...that's where the experience starts! I have seen this as an employee of Banner as well as a patient. There's a LOT of room for improvement.
