Lot's of opportunities to shape ones contribution to the team and have an impact on meaningful internal and customer topics early on. Although, still a niche player in consulting - numerous opportunities to work with interesting clietns on high impact engagements. No overreaching emphasis on being billable all the time (might differ strongly from team to team).
Cons
Lack of clearly visible goal and orientation, highly imbalanced workload between employees, not insignificant pay differences across teams and departments.
