- Fun onboarding process - Offered 50k above average during negotiation but I had to refuse every prior offer. - Knowledgeable fullstack engineer - Best interview process, they actually ask questions relevant to the job. No leetcode regurgitation.
Cons
- Micromanagers that ask you to make a daily list of all your accomplishments and sit in on all your meetings when the don't like you. They believe you've made progress when you're the loudest about it while their largest daily accomplishments are filling up your calendars with meetings. - Deceitful run of the mill corporate culture. Expect nothing better and don't fall for the "family" vibe that tries to get pushed. The second they don't agree with you the mask drops and you'll hear what they really think during your 1-on-1's. - The golden startup age of company trips and cool merchandise are coming to an end. Cost cutting is already happening, and company hoodies won't be the last thing to be cut.
