Pros

Can work from home despite CEO hating it

Cons

Every year the same drivel ‘thank you for going above and beyond but unfortunately board says little to no bonuses. Try again this year!’ The glossy policies don’t marry to the toxic exploitative culture. It now feels like the company are mistreating employees in hope to reduce headcount the cowardly way. Nobody cares if clients leave. Anyone who starts with a strong work ethic will eventually lose it. There’s zero incentive to go above and beyond. They introduced a commission policy then withdrew it without notice or comms. They’ve installed a spyware software on computers and dressed up the purpose as ‘not monitoring people’ (so that they comply with GDPR). Everyone is deflated and uninspired and the cause ultimately has to sit with the CEO.
