Pros
Great, friendly team. Encouraging managers. Able to work flexibly. Ability to work independently and no micro-managing. Opportunities to work on development with access to funds for further learning. I was lucky enough to gain experience in other teams due to secondments during colleagues maternity leave, which was great.
Cons
Overall company culture and Executive team has been going through a few changes for a while, with pockets of restructures. Like a lot of companies right now unfortunately. Communications around this has got better - in the past a lot of things were left unsaid or swept under the carpet, but I think they do better to acknowledge what is happening. In terms of the role, while there are opportunities to develop, there aren't lots of opportunities to develop into other roles (though managers are really encouraging), unless you are lucky to move around the company or are happy to learn something new in a different team. Internal hires aren't always encouraged enough as they could be throughout other Anchor teams, though I luckily had some good experiences and great managers who wanted me to excel.
