Pros
Total compensation is ok, aligned with the market, there is no bonus but stock compensation. There many paths inside Amazon, so you can find yourself and of course it's excellent for your resume. Amazon is very data driven, so there is no space to beat around the bush. You have space to innovate and show leadership in the teams.
Cons
Sellers face many issues when selling at Amazon, so the platform is not user friendly (a lot of system issues causing constant frictions), therefore Brazilian sellers decide not to work with Amazon. The culture is robust, but many principles contradict each other (they are 16 principles now). The culture creates a nice work environment, however it's too many things to focus, what can look like a brain wash (you will find lots of fanatics). Frugality principle can be misleading and be interpreted as low employee proposition, increasing turnover. Benefits are strict to what you see as minimum in the market, nothing special.
