Amazon is a very agile and flat company which will allow you to try absolutely everything you would like to try or learn. Managers are open to career discussions, and if your performance is correct, the company will support your career development plans. When its said Amazon is like a giant startup, it really is, for the goods and the bads.
Cons
The company is not very "people focused". Meaning if offers some of the lowest perks in the industry and does not really enforce a Work-life balance culture. People that progress at Amazon normally work long hours, and its def a fast-pace environment (even higher than industry standards, which are not low).
