Pros
My team is wonderful. There is a great work/life balance. Everyone is professional and smart. I feel constantly challenged by my managers and encouraged to explore all kinds of new ways to do our work more efficiently and to innovate.
Cons
I am underemployed. I have a license in my profession that requires 7 years of advanced schooling before sitting for that license. In contrast, MBAs are hired at a higher level than me. The promotional process has looked for a "unicorn," which is a fantastic beast that does not exist. It was great to learn here, but there is no upwards trajectory. This has a disproportionate impact on women and people of color, who are consistently hired with the same credentials as people in a traditionally higher level role than the rest of us.
