Pros

Altus once cared about their employees and was a wonderful place to work. Management provided insight on their goals and solicited input from the employees. It felt as if you were an important part of the company.

Cons

However, changes were made late in 2022. Employees affected by these major changes were not made aware of the new processes until two weeks before they were to take affect. It seems this decision was made to avoid a massive exodus by the employees. They never considered or acknowledged the great work of employees that had been there for several years. They divided employees and herded them in to groups without even evaluating each employees skills. The level of micro management is inconceivable. When there is an exodus of senior management, it speaks volumes.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We value your comments and are glad to see you enjoyed the flexibility and work-life balance enabled through our Activity-Based Work Model. Changes to team structure are not taken lightly and are made based on the evolving needs of the business and our clients and not a reflection of the commitment of the impacted individuals, or of the organization’s commitment to our employees. The roles we eliminated were out of scope with our annual strategic objectives and we have a duty to our internal and external stakeholders to fulfill our commitments. At Altus, we’re committed to providing our people with the tools, resources and development opportunities they need to make their mark and grow their careers. In 2025, we celebrated 290 internal promotions. If you’d like to discuss your experience in further detail, please email us at internalcommunications@AltusGroup.com and we’d be happy to facilitate a meeting with our HR Business Partners.
