Pros

I really enjoyed my time here. Compared with other places I've worked in the sales industry the training from senior staff was great. I grew as an individual and developed excellent sales skills thanks to mentorship from senior staff. Culture was good you hit your target and you go for dinner and on great events, What's not to like? Only people who don't like that are ones who don't hit their targets. Hit the targets it's not rocket science. The targets are attainable, it's clear to see from the full tables of sales execs. Even if you don't hit the targets quarterly staff functions.

Cons

If you're not hitting targets you might not get free food. Don't really understand why that might be something to moan about,

Pros

Authoritative and toxic culture. No respect for employees No respect for mental well-being. Been so so affected.

Cons

Unlimited holidays BUT YOU CANT TAKE THEM. I always get my holidays rejected for no reasons. And if miraculously I do get approved, they’ll ask me to take my computer. Public holidays- they also sometimes ask you to work. Managers. They use fear factors and are rude and threatening you. I saw it across the board with the rest of the team. HR will not intervene. You can bring it up to them but they have no involvement whatsoever if anything. They’ll pop up on glassdoor from times to times but not do anything about it. I really think this company should be audited by regulatory body for unethical and conflict of interest practices. Analysts aren’t working independently. Clients who pay the most have a direct line with management and dictate how they want the valuation to go. If you try to voice an opinion you are dismissed as not knowing what you are doing. This has really affected my mental health. I have happily moved on. But i have a lot of witnesses which also have left which could support these facts. In short, i don’t recommend altus
