Pros
Overall typically the actual team(s) you support are usually very kind and respectful.
Cons
The team culture within the EA group is highly toxic and cliquish, disguised under a facade of collaboration and support. The senior EA is extremely condescending and unapproachable—while she claims to be available for questions, any attempt to seek guidance is met with belittlement and hostility. Her behavior creates an environment of anxiety, even for those who have never experienced it before. Microaggressions within the team were a constant issue, making it difficult to feel included or valued. The workload is overwhelming, and recognition only comes at the cost of sacrificing work-life balance. Management primarily rewards those who work excessive hours (60+ per week), which fosters burnout rather than efficiency. Additionally, the job description does not accurately reflect the actual role. Expectations are high, yet there is little to no structured training or documented processes (SOPs) to support success. Asking for clarification is often met with ridicule rather than guidance. Unfortunately, the compensation does not justify the stress and unrealistic demands of the position. Would not recommend this workplace unless significant cultural, structural & financial changes are made.
